A foundation built on 34 years of ministry, a love for people, and a love for the game.
Why we exist
From ministry to foundation
After 34 years in ministry in Oregon, Alex Esquerra moved to Arizona with a clear purpose: keep doing what he loves most, which is helping people grow through every season of life.
Over the years he watched couples pour everything into a wedding day and almost nothing into the marriage that follows. He sat with families in grief, walked with people through divorce, and coached young athletes who just needed someone to believe in them and show them how to improve.
The Esquerra Foundation for Life and Sports Development brings all of that together under one roof.
Our mission
What we're here to do
We are a charitable and educational organization providing youth development programs, leadership and character development, mentoring, athletic education, family education, community outreach, scholarship assistance, and faith-informed educational programs.
